Getting mail in the nude
Love doing the same thing! My mailbox is centrally located on my block, about 6 houses down from my house. I usually get the mail once or twice a week around 3:30am totally naked. Afterward, I will also typically drive naked to work as well.
Too many ring cameras around me at anytime !
It's certainly a problem. Cameras everywhere.
Prior to the neighbours getting kitted out and the street was quiet I would wander to the trash bins naked.
It wasn't far but always a thrill.
The cameras are motion activated. You can adjust the sensitivity level however the detection is not as sensitive on a Ring doorbell as it is on their cameras. I have one on front door which does not detect vehicles passing by about 45 yards away. However, my camera is not pointed directly at the road and it will detect vehicles passing by.
I've walked about 45 yards from my garage to my mailbox many times when it is either early in the morning, or after it gets dark. For about 2 years, I did not have neighbors in the two houses across the road from me and I would go to the mail box whenever I desired. I have a lot of trees in my yard so I would just duck behind one if a vehicle approached. I got in a bind a few times when vehicles came by at the same time. I was exposed to one of the vehicles and don't know if the occupants actually saw me or not. Since I live at the apex of a curve, most drivers are busy trying to navigate the curve and don't have time to look into my yard.
It is about 100' from our front door across the street to the neighbors. I can see their front door clearly from ours. I have cut the activation down to our front steps, otherwise it triggers from someone walking down the street on the opposite side.
