Mowed the lawn with only hearing protection. Got the mower fired up and just started pushing it around, once I was done I realized I hadnt even put anything on my feet.Including parts of the yard where you could be seen?No, only the private fenced part. Dont really want the law called on me or an earful from the Mrs.
I have read on this site and elsewhere that it is legal to be nude anywhere on your own property in FL, even if you can be easily seen by neighbors and people passing by. However, you are probably wise not to upset your wife or the neighbors.
The open shirt is something I just started trying. I may go back to just driving completely nude when it gets even warmer and a shirtless driver would be less conspicuous that early in the day.And that day would be today. It was already 80F at 6:30am as I was loading the car, so today's 75mi trip to camp was totally nude.Have you visited both resorts?What do you see as the advantages of each?We have visited both Cypress Cove and Lake Como,Cypress Cove has more of a party atmosphere. Poolside activities every day and poolside DJ dances every night. Bar/restaurant is open every day. Lake Como is owned by the residents (which is how our home resort Solair is also set up). Lots of weekend activities but the restaurant doesn't open every day. Fine if you plan ahead but if you arrive on a Monday, you better remember to stop somewhere for food before getting to Como.Two afterthoughts,Do you sometimes find that it is too cold to be nude at the resort even in summer?When do you intend to fully retire?At our home resort of Solair, yes (especially in the early morning or at night). I have a zip up hoodie for those occasions which I can wear open when it gets a little cold. I am 50/50 between retiring and dropping to 20 hours/ week in the spring of 2027.Just the hoodie with no shorts or pants?How many hours are you working now?I believe you said you recently reduced your work schedule.Do you have a pension?Where I worked, pension was based on the best 3 of your last 5 years, so if you worked less than full time for more than 24 months, your pension could actually go down.
Just the open hoodie to keep my arms warm. If it gets colder, I can zip it up. If it gets really cold, I can add a towel wrap (and switch from using the golf cart to using our car to head up to the community center!)
I dropped from 40 hours to 32 last spring and just dropped from 32 hours to 30, but since we don't have a pension there is no worrying about earnings in my last 5 years. It was just down to whether my 401(k)/403(b) had enough to retire.
No one here today but my wife and myself.
Have been continuously nude since early afternoon..
Don't intend to dress until tomorrow morning.
Outside I cleaned the pool filter, swam, floated, had a snack, made a phone call, read a magazine, checked texts, email and social media.
Pretty much everyday I soak in the hot tub in the AM, water the pots and baskets, eat breakfast and have my coffee on the patio, some days do yoga, and cleanup and gardening around our two patios. I the evening, I'll weed in our garden beds out in the yard and throw the Frisbee for the dog. I'm just getting to know my neighbors, so I'm not pushing the envelope too far yet. The neighbors most likely to see me wouldn't care, but they run a business on their property.
So I been taking care of my daughter place at the farm while she at the hospital having new baby. Wife is home with the grandson. So I do the chores feed horse, dog, cats, animal in the house. Then spend the rest of the day watching the dog outside to let them run, I'm naked sunning out of cam site.
I awoke to pea soup dog at the family lake cottage. I went out on my stand up paddle board and once I could not see the shore , I dropped my swimsuit and paddle naked in the fog. Felt exposed but certain unless I came across a fisherman in the fog I would not be seen.
