Philly Naked Bike Ride 2026 ?
Hi Buddy,
Ed here. What should I call you?
Am an avid bicyclist, and I've done all of the PNBRs for the past eight years or so. Always found them lots of fun. I need to decide ASAP if I'm going this year, since it's only a couple weeks away. Would be great to have some company.
What I do is put my bike on Amtrak , get up to Philly around 2:00 or 3:00 p.m., and head for the start site, which for the last three or four years has been Lemon Hill Park, near the Philadelphia Art Museum. The ride kicks off fairly promptly at 5:00, covers a distance of usually nine to eleven miles, depending on the route, finishes around 7:00 or so, and attracts a motley and festive crowd of between 2,000 and 3,000 naked and costumed riders. I usually spend the night at a Mister B&B or AirB&B place, and return home via Amtrak the next day.
There are a number of folks from the Washington area who go up every year, and we try to get together for supper after the ride. Need more info? Let me know!
Kind regards, Ed Blanton
Of the 18 Naked Bike Rides I have done in 13 cities, I have done Philly twice, 2019 & 2022. It was the largest ride I have done as far as riders goes. That has good and bad points. Being part of such a large event is really cool. In a group that large, it is easy to be lost in the crowd. I love it when spectators take pictures of me nude on the bike, but in a group that big it doesn't seem to happen that much. I enjoyed both times, and may do Philly again, although I only do a few repeat rides. Buffalo was an annual ride until they cancelled it this year due to negative feedback. Toronto and Montreal since the logistics work out with my visits to Central and Western NY State.

Did you make it to upstate NY and do the Toronto or Montreal rides this year?
I think I've ridden 4, this would be my fifth if I can make it work. Work assignment will prob hold me up til 2 or 3, not sure if I'll want to haul (bare) @ss back down to the city. Enjoy, if I don't make it! I think one of my profile pics is at a pnbr
The @PhillyNBR is awesome. Great esprit de corps.
The @SFWNBR ( coming up at the end of the month ) is more of a boutique WNBR but easily one of the most iconic with few rivals especially wrt to the number of EveryDay/365 #NudistWelcomingMerchants. Its not really for the shy, but all are welcome ( even closeted nudists )!
