Have Health and Efficiency Naturist ceased to print the magazine?
Hi,
As subject line.
I have been going in to WH Smith (now TG Jones) for weeks now to buy my regular copy of the magazine and havent been able to pick one up
I asked the assistant and she didnt know anything about the magazine being discontinued
Does anyone on here know?

Yes, one of the newsletter emails I get (from Clover Spa) told us in June:
"After more than 120 years in print, Health & Efficiency (H&E) magazine has published its final printed edition and has moved to a fully digital format under the ownership of Paul and Kate Rouse.
Like many people, H&E was one of my first introductions to the healthy, positive world of naturism. Generations of readers have discovered the benefits of a simpler, more natural way of life through its pages. While it is always a little sad to see a long-standing publication leave print behind, the reality is that rising production and postage costs have made the move inevitable.
Personally, I can see a positive side too. The new digital format will no longer carry the "adult services" advertisements that have often blurred the distinction between naturism and something entirely different. Anything that helps present naturism more clearly as a healthy, respectful lifestyle choice has to be a good thing.

I used to get my copy in the post until I found our postman reading it before it was delivered
I will do an on line subscription and give that a go
How is Clover Spa these days, I used to visit and stay over, I had a great time

Our copy was always delivered in a plain brown envelope.
how did your postman know what it was, and did you report him for interfering with your mail?
it's very sad but same as all the pubs that close and we say ow thats a shame only stopped or closed as we stopped using them so we are to blame but i get it also tech etc we do things in different ways now

I haven't been in a while but I still get the weekly email from Tim. Sounds like they've added quite a few new things

I visited and stayed over at Clover Spa a few years back-I had a lovely time. I recall how busy it was on several summer days
