Took an old pair of jeans with a large rip at the knee and cut them into 5" inseam shorts, the length I usually wear.Should I keep them like that or go for3" like my 2 shortest pair?
With cut off jeans, I was always limited by the pockets. Don't really like the look of white pockets hanging out my shorts.

Actually I liked the look of pockets hanging out of shorts but wasn't bold enough to wear them that short.

I noticed the comment from a few years ago when I got rid of my 8" gym shorts and only kept the 3 and 5" ones.
My wife commented that if our grandson didn't spend so much time here, I would probably get rid of all of them.
I replied that I would keep a very few for working in the front yard and taking walks, but might never wear them again in the house or back yard!
