New Situation

As I have mentioned, one neighbor can see over my privacy fence from my deck. He knows I am often nude in and around the pool and it doesn't bother him. I found out yesterday that his girlfriend moved in recently. Should I proceed as usual, put a eimd screen on top of the fence again, be more discreet with my nudity or talk to him and see what he says?

Yeah, that is a good question. Id say talk to your neighbor again. You might even get lucky and she thinks its a good idea that you dont put the fence up. And you can invite both of them over for a swim one of these days when its nice and warm out.

I would have to agree there. You should talk to him if not both at the sametime. If she has a problem with your lifestyle, you can invite them over to see how your lifestyle is if she agrees to . If not then put up the screen.

I saw my neighbor and his girlfriend who recently moved in with him in their front yard so I stopped by to chat. I mentioned that I am often nude in and around the pool and since I know that I can be seen from their deck I would add additional screening if she wanted me to. She said that it wouldn't bother her if she happened to see me and even mentioned that she has been to festivals where some of the attendees are nude and she prefers not to be, but seeing others doesn't bother her. So far so good, but she mentioned that her 14 year old son is living with them. Since she said it was OK if I was seen nude in my yard, I would assume that she doesn't have a problem if her son happened to see me nude. On the other hand I know that being seen nude by a minor could have serious legal implications. Anyone else have thoughts about it?

Proceed as usual. Talk with him about his new relationship. See where it goes.

Hope you worked out that question with your neighbour, kids these days can be funny about nudity it seems. Great that your neighbour & his partner were good with your nudity.

I am not a lawyer, but I suggest that you research the nudity laws for where you live. On the plus side, you do have the consent of your adult neighbors. But what if the 14 year-old sees you and says something to his friends?

I am not a lawyer either. However, this is the general situation I found for myself.
Nudity in Arkansas is bad. Go somewhere else.
Explicit sexual activity in the presence of a minor is illegal, vigorously enforced, and carries high penalties.
Lacking explicit sexual activity can enrage a mother or father. The mother is more dangerous than a female grizzly with a cub.
Nudity in other places is typically illegal. Actual enforcement policies differ from place to place.
In National Forests, it usually requires a complaint for authorities to take action. Wisconsin State Parks usually have the same policy. In forests and parks it usually requires a law enforcement person to process the complaint. They are scarce to non-existent in most of these places.
In Texas if you are nude inside your home, there is no problem even if someone sees you through a window. Outside on private property is less clear to me. There is something about "expected privacy". See a lawyer for best advice.

Speak to the neighbors about the minor. Psychologically it is a bad situation. Because teens will mostly think its exhibitionism what you do. But may be the 14 year old has no problem.
