Nudist dads and nudism in different countries

Anyone grew up with a nudist dad? or in cultures where nudity is not that rare? For example i'm from Colombia and I think here is more common than in the US. How is it in your country? do you think is good for self-steem? just wanted to update the topic and discuss with another dads or other real naturists about different experiences.

Here in the USA. I grew up with a religious family. So I never really seen my parents ever naked. I did see my brother a few times naked. But we shared a bedroom.
But I have been talking to people who were raised free. It sounds so perfect to see what life will look like in the future.

My dad is Christian and from the US and is not a nudist either, at least growing up nudism wasn't an option

I grew up in a religous household. My dad however walked around in tigthy whities, Donald Duck style. I actually had that style for the longest time haha. I think in the USA it is rare but I have heard of families that practice. I think Europe is where it is really accepted like in Germany I think.

I grew up as an only child with a single nudist dad. He taught me body positivity, very open with explaining how my body developed. He was also very sex positive and encouraged me to explore what felt right to me.

I avoid using the word nudist because it implies social nudity since everyone is a nudist taking a shower. If there are no public nudist spaces, and the private ones such as AANR resorts ban single dads and their sons, how can you be nudist? Especially if you live in a tight urban area without a lot of freedom to be naked outside or inside (curtains etc)? Despite all this, I encouraged my sons, now 21 and 23, to be body and sex positive. Their mother and the local community were more prudish, but at least my sons can question views instead of just accepting prudishness with no consideration. As my sons find their own way in life, they're still casual with clothes around me and it will remain to be seen what practices and views they lean into as young adults.

I would say, that at their age in life and you have given them the option to be free of clothes at your place . Then it really up to them to discuss and decide if they are comfortable without clothes at your place or theirs what to wear.
