Now that you're exploring nudism on your own, it is time to get a little more education. Nakedness is showing your whole self, and there will almost always be a component of people inside the nudist community that will be hyper-focused on the only part that is hidden at any other social place - your penis. You have chosen to show yourself off in a public way, along with being solo, so you can expect some unnecessarily awkward interactions with prospective friends. Or prospective creeps. Those people don't give a hoot about your assumptions as to what is an appropriate conversation starter. Your circumcised member is on display for all to see, and now that you don't have the filter of a parent, who has dutifully kept this sort of unwanted attention at arm's length simply by being present with you. It is now up to you to do your own sorting out of losers who may want to explore your genitals with more than their eyes.
Even at a clothed beach, there are going to be people who are there to mostly look for sexual connections. Unless you're wearing the tightest, most opaque speedo you can buy, the outline of your dinghy isn't going to tell them you are circumcised, so that topic of conversation won't happen. But if this sort of interaction keeps happening to you -- and it will -- you have to step up and be clear with this kind of individual, call them out; tell them you aren't okay with them asking you about your genitalia. And confrontation isn't always going to work either, depending on the insistence of the sexually-driven. I could get a whole lot weirder, believe me. If you think a comment about the lack of extra skin at the end of your dong is strange, wait until someone tries to grab you there! You may have to move your towel or leave altogether, I'm sorry to say.
Certain social places eventually get a reputation if that kind of person or activity is commonly present, and nude beaches have been permanently closed due to such unwanted action, though one guy asking you about your dick isn't the kind of thing that's going to make that drastic an event occur. If this sort of thing happens at a nudist club, you have the option of complaining to management, though I feel it is time for you to learn to be your own protector.
If you think this will stop happening to you, it won't, at least until you find one, or a few, good nude friends to venture out with. A solo nudist is a target - a couple or group of them is a form of safety net, and will help you avoid the kind of lurker who wants to get 'in your pants'.
