Bicycling Nudists
Peopel that love to ride bicycles, nude,or otherwise. I would be nice to have a meet somewheres and ride for 10-100 miles on a given weekend. Such as a rails to trails conversion, or a segmetn of a highwa, such as teh Natchez Trace. OR meet up at a nudist resort, adn bring our bikes!

Return to DiscussionsIMHO, both terry cloth and various lubricants work well depending on the circumstances. For short nude rides, I lay a small terry cloth towel over my saddle and wind a criss-cross of tape over it and around my seat post to hold it in place. It doesn't always work for long rides (imagine using a loofah on those parts for an hour or two lol), so there I use a lubricant like body glide or butt butter. Most bike shops carry similar products under the category of "chamois cream." I'm sure other solutions can also work. The idea is to prevent friction and sweat from rubbing your tender bits raw against the saddle. Hope that helps!
All my bikes have the Brooks B17 S. Out of necessity I wear the Lycra shorts but can't wait I go back to De Anza this winter and ride naked. For good health, I'm out of the shorts as soon as I finish riding. The worst is to stay and sweat in your shorts! I've ridden 7200 km this year so far and starting a 1200 km ride on Tuesday from Hamilton, On to Albany, NY via Niagara Falls, NY Bike route 5 to Syracruse, North to Kingston, On, 1000 Island Bikeway to Montreal and then south along the Hudson Valley to Albany.
