About MeganAR
Hey there! I'm Megan, 41, and a single mom just trying to navigate life after a painful divorce. I've been feeling pretty lost lately, trying to figure out who I am again in this new town and new home.
Here's where my story takes an unexpected turn. My son Ethan's at that age where I feel him drifting away - you know how it is, he'd rather be in his room gaming than hanging out with his mom. A friend suggested something that absolutely shocked me at first - she thought nudism might help us reconnect. I was like "no way, absolutely not!" But after a few glasses of wine one evening, feeling desperate to bridge that growing gap between us, I randomly blurted out "okay, I'll try it."
That first movie night still plays in my head on repeat. My hands were literally shaking as I changed in the bathroom - my heart pounding so hard I thought Ethan might actually hear it through the door. I kept peeking at myself in the mirror, thinking "what on earth are you doing, Megan?" My face was beet red before I even stepped out.
When I finally walked into the living room, just wearing my pajama bottoms, I swear time stood still. Ethan was sprawled on the couch, controller in hand, but when he looked up... his eyes just went wide. He couldn't stop staring - not in a creepy way, but in that curious teenage boy way that made me want to run back and hide. I grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around myself so tightly I could barely breathe.
We started the movie, but for the first twenty minutes, I don't think either of us actually watched it. I was hyper-aware of every movement, every breath. The blanket felt like both my shield and my prison. My mind was racing - "this was a terrible idea," "he's never going to want to hang out with me again," "I've scarred my son for life."
Then something shifted. About halfway through the movie, I felt the couch dip as Ethan moved closer. He didn't say anything, just... inched his way toward me until our shoulders were touching. I remember thinking how long it had been since we'd sat this close while watching something. Usually he's as far away as possible.
When the credits rolled, I was already mentally preparing my escape route - ready to bolt to my room and never try this again. I figured that was it - we'd tried my crazy experiment, and now we could go back to normal, with me hiding in my room while he hid in his.
But then a few days later, out of absolutely nowhere, Ethan came up to me while I was making dinner. He was shuffling his feet, wouldn't quite make eye contact, and mumbled, "Hey Mom... that movie night was... kinda nice. Can we do it again?"
I swear my heart just about exploded. I had to fight back tears as I nodded, trying to play it cool like this wasn't the best thing I'd heard in months. He wanted to spend time with me. He actually wanted to do this again.
We've only had a few movie nights since then, and I'm still nervous every time - though not quite as panic-attack level as that first night. Sometimes I still catch him looking, but now he smiles instead of just staring. And sometimes during particularly intense scenes, he'll lean against me like he used to when he was little. It's still very, very new, and I'm still figuring everything out, but for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm doing something right as his mom.

Who I'd like to meet
I'm hoping to connect with other experienced nudists who can help me navigate this new journey - especially other moms who've found this path as a way to reconnect with their kids. I'd love to hear their stories and learn from their experiences.I'm also interested in meeting local nudists in my area. I've been looking into ways to find community, and I've discovered there are resources like the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) that has a club locator on their website, which might help me find nearby groups. I've also learned about non-landed social clubs that organize events without owning property, which sounds like a more approachable option for someone as new and nervous as I am.Mostly, I'm looking for genuine connections with people who can help me feel less alone on this journey and who understand that for me, this is about building a more authentic relationship with my son and finding myself again after a difficult period in my life. I'm still very much figuring everything out, so finding patient, understanding people who won't judge my beginner status would mean the world to me.
My Interests
Ethan is your typical quiet teenager who would rather be lost in the world of video games than pretty much anything else. He's on the shy side, especially now that he's at that age where talking to his mom isn't exactly "cool." He's got a dry sense of humor that catches me off guard sometimes, and he's actually really thoughtful when he lets his guard down.As for me, I'm the type who still makes sure we have dinner together most nights, even if it's just frozen pizza. I love bakingSince starting this new nudist journey, I've discovered that our interests are slowly expanding. Movie nights have become something special - not just because of our new arrangement, but because we're actually sharing an experience without the distraction of his phone or my endless mom questions. I'm learning to appreciate these simple moments of connection, even if I'm still blushing through most of them. We're both homebodies at heart, which probably makes this whole nudist thing work better for us. We're not exactly the adventurous outdoor types (yet!), but we're finding our own way to be comfortable and authentic together in our own little world.
Movies
Favorite movies:I'm a total sucker for Disney movies and romantic comedies - give me a princess finding her prince or a quirky girl meeting the perfect guy in New York, and I'm happy. There's something about those predictable happy endings that just feels comforting, especially after everything I've been through.Ethan, of course, is all about the action and superhero movies. He can recite the entire Marvel timeline and has strong opinions about which Avengers movie is the best (don't you dare suggest it's anything other than "Endgame" unless you want a lecture). Our movie nights have become this interesting compromise - we take turns picking, which means one week I'm crying my eyes out during a Disney animated classic, and the next week I'm covering my ears during an explosive Marvel battle scene. Though I have to admit, some of those superhero movies are actually pretty good lol
Music
'll admit it - I'm all about country and pop music, much to Ethan's dismay! He'll roll his eyes and complain that my music is "cringey," but that doesn't stop me from belting out Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood at the top of my lungs. There's nothing better than car karaoke with the windows down - even if Ethan's pretending he doesn't know me in the passenger seat.Ethan, on the other hand, is into that video game soundtrack music and whatever alternative bands his friends are listening to. Sometimes I'll catch him humming along to one of my songs when he thinks I'm not paying attention, though he'll deny it if I call him on it. lol
