Return to DiscussionsI agree. You can certainly tell spam posts that should be deleted. I assume moderators have that option. I noticed in some groups that i am in that the moderator(s) have not signed in for months/years according to their profile. The spam posts are driving this site down.
Actually we don't. We used to be able to delete content, like media and discussions but now I can't in my group. I had to make the one group I moderate Private to prevent spammers from signing up. I do see some Public groups that don't have the spam messages I see in other Public groups, so I'm assuming they must request the powers to be to remove it.
tos1966- thanks for the info. I am surprised that moderators dont have that option. What is the use of moderators if the powers that be dont give you that option to delete spam posts? The site owners are going to end up driving this site down if the amount of spam increases.
