As a Christian (non-evangelical), I believe that since we are made in God's image, that image is beautiful, and should not bring shame since there is nothing wrong with the way He made us.

I don't really call myself a nudist since I don't make it the nucleus of my life. I don't contort my schedule around so I can be nude for as long as possible throughout the entire day. Like most, my livelihood and family are in the textile world, so I also have my feet in both worlds if you will. That being said, I'm a bit of an old soul, and nudity is an important part of my life, the best way to live, relax, be more centered, and certainly I wish the rest of the world felt the same way, as much of it once did.

Regarding sexuality and nudism, I've found that most nudists seem to fall along the opposites of a spectrum, with the prudishly asexual at one end, and swingers at the other end, both seeming to overreact to eachother. It seems like nudism's PR dept, in it's attempt to snatch legitimacy from the jaws of social stigma, managed to throw out the baby with the bathwater to the point that any displays of affection otherwise considered acceptable in the greater textile world, become abruptly verboten in a nudist context. You'll find me between the two, acknowledging that there is a sensual, fun, flirtatious, playful, sex-positive side of nudism to be enjoyed, all while being respectful and considerate of other's boundaries, preferences, and orientation. Sexuality in naturism is deeper, more natural and more sustainable than the supercharged sexuality produced by skimpy swimwear, advertising, and the fashion & makeup industry in general.

I like the following quote from Emile Armand in "Revolutionary Nudism":
"The critics of nudism moralists or conservative hygienists of the State or Church suppose that the sight of nudity, or the regular association of nudists of both sexes, exalts erotic desire. This is not always the case. However, contrary to most gymnist theses for which opportunism or fear of persecution is the beginning of wisdom we do not deny it either. But we maintain that the erotic exaltation engendered by nudist projects is pure, natural, and instinctive. It cannot be compared with the artificial excitement of the half-naked, the gallant in revealing clothes, and all the artifices of make-up relied on in the dressed, half-dressed, or barely dressed milieu in which we currently operate."
